About Us

The EA Foundation Inc. was born from a vision to empower the next generation of leaders at Elizabeth City State University (ECSU). Established in 2025, our foundation is the culmination of years of dedication by alumni of the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., who recognized the need for a structured approach to support students in their academic and personal journeys.

Our journey began with the launch of the George Wesley Edmonds Endowed Fund in 2014, which laid the groundwork for a broader mission: to foster leadership, academic excellence, social responsibility, and community engagement among ECSU students. The EA Foundation embodies this mission by providing scholarships, mentorship, and resources that help students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
